Blood Drive set Oct. 29

Students will be able to donate blood during the Blood Drive on October 29 in the gym during the entire school day. Students interested in donating can sign up on online or through any National Honor Society member during all lunches.

Students must be over 120 pounds in order to donate; they cannot donate if they have gotten any piercings or had major surgeries within the last year, or if they went out of the country last summer.

“There is an age requirement,” said Nurse Carol Wiley. “If you are 16 or 17 years of age, there is a release form that your parents must sign.” Forms are available at the sign-up.
