The library was transformed into an art gallery for the submissions into the VASE (Visual Arts Scholastic Event) competition on April 1. Students and staff viewed a variety of media from animation to ceramics, from paintings to pastels created by art classes taught by Jeremy Vanley and Dr. Keri Reynolds.

Worth Commending: Mirna El-Hallak (11), Dana Oropeza (12) , and Elva Turcios (12) observe their classmates' VASE pieces. Oropeza thought the showcase was a great idea. “A lot of my classmates had really detailed and interesting pieces, and it was cool seeing all these kids with hidden talents,” Oropeza said.
