At the annual Thespian Festival of Texas, several Thespians have qualified for national competition.
Congratulations to:
-Jonathan Villegas and Nga Nguyen for qualifying for nationals in duet pantomime
-Sadiqa Bramlette for qualifying for nationals in solo musical
-Flaviu Delczeg for qualifying for nationals in monologue
-Cindy Wang and Aaron Burgess for qualifying for nationals in duet acting
-Nga Nguyen, Jonathan Villegas, and Nour Alia for receiving first place in hair and make-up
-Dennis Chau, Lisa Le, and Jason Quach for receiving third place in set design.
The state convention was held in downtown Houston this year. Nationals will take place this summer. Cadre Kerr is scheduled to do a showcasing of their performances at Thespian Festival. The date is currently to be determined.
