Senior Jessica Vien has been selected for Mayor Annisse Parker’s youth council.

Vien will be representing district F, which includes parts of Alief ISD. Being part of the Mayor’s youth council will give Vien the opportunity to discuss issues surrounding teens.

“We’re helping out the mayor,” Vien said, “and getting to make decisions as a council to help the youth, like teenagers.”
