Band continues to prepare for Band Day

The wind ensemble has been practicing for its performance at Krump stadium next Thursday, with the direction of Ashley Siegrist.

The band take their practice outside in order to best prepare for when they perform on the football field. The pep-band songs they will be performing are Any Way You Want It and Don’t Stop Believing.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
