FBLA hosts fundraiser for Japanese earthquake and tsunami victims

Future Business Leaders of America is collecting donations for victims of the recent earthquake and tsunamis in Japan.

Donations are being collected in the cafeteria during all lunches.

Funds will go towards the World Vision charity non-profit organization, which will help to provide supply to victims. For other projects, World Vision has also focused on providing specific care towards children in need, and the charity will provide more help addition focused care towards children if a certain amount of funds is reached.

Last year, FBLA funded a charity towards Haiti’s earthquake victims.

“We know of the power of students, that when they come together they can make a difference,”  FBLA secretary Aayna S. said. “If we could do this with Haiti, we can do this with Japan.”
