A Wonderful Start: NHS Officers kick off their first meeting of the new semester in the foreign language center. They presented multiple upcoming volunteering opportunities for members. “If you are interested, feel free to sign up,” Muhammad Annas said.
National Honor Society held its first general meeting for the second semester after moving it to Monday, January 13. They went over volunteering opportunities such as the upcoming Open House, a blood drive in February, and the induction ceremony of new members. Sponsor Ms. Maness-Richards went through the process of pinning new members and what takes place at the induction ceremony. They also discussed upcoming carnation sales and the creation of cards.
