World Schools Teams Prepare For a Mock Round

Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kim’s Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. “I’m not the biggest fan of this motion, but I’m still excited,” Nguyen said.

On Thursday, April 18, debaters will meet afterschool in room 523 to hold a practice World Schools round with a motion from Last Chance Qualifiers. With Team LASER still hoping to qualify for nationals, they plan on holding many more practice rounds to compete at this tournament. Additionally, with the debate season coming to a close, the officer team met last Tuesday to begin preparations for the end of year banquet and officer re-elections. From competing till the end and readying celebration, the team surely has their hands full.
