Ready Writing was Ready! Juniors Adrian Alas Isaiah Lopez, Sarah Abi Saab, and Shirley Doan pose with their medals. Doan and Abi Saab took the first and fourth spot in Ready Writing, while Alas and Lopez took sixth and eighth in Spelling. “All ready writers going to region,” Abi Saab said.
On April 6, several students went out to Dawson High School to participate in the annual UIL Districts competition. They boarded the bus around 6:30 am to arrive in time for the first competition at 8:00 am. Students competed in math and reading events such as Number Sense, Spelling, and Ready Writing. After facing tough competition from other schools in the district, Kerr left with many hard-earned wins.
