With the UIL competition quickly approaching, the band students are putting in extra effort in the band room every day. They practice their music extensively, both as a whole band and in smaller groups. The band director assists them not just with technical aspects of the music, but also with expressing emotions in the songs. Students collaborate and engage in activities to decrease stress and establish friendships. Along with their music practice, they are also making sure their instruments are in good condition. As the UIL date approaches, everyone is eager to showcase their efforts and skills on the competition stage.
