Team LASER Prepares For UT Tournament

Game Time Team LASER member Abigail Nguyen writes a debate case for the UT tournament starting Friday, December 1. This was the last case the team needed to prepare. “I’m both nervous and excited, but mostly excited,” said Nguyen.

On Friday, December 1, World Schools team LASER will leave school at 8 am to compete at UT Austin for three days. In preparation for this tournament, members met after school in the debate room on November 28 to hold a mock round with the novice debate team. Both teams received criticism from their coaches alongside their peers. The team met again on Thursday to crystalize all of their case arguments for the upcoming competition.
