Speech and Debate students gathered in room 523 Tuesday to prepare for their upcoming competition this Friday and Saturday. With competitors in Public Forum, Extemp, Congress, and World Schools, students had much to do. After taking attendance, each event was separated into seminar rooms to start working on their cases. For instance, Congressional debaters would research different legislations and build cases from that research. After two hours of work, they continued to perfect their speeches after leaving school. With the next tournament in less than two days, work time is crucial.
