Daniel Cobos and Mark Wright made All-State Jazz Band. This means that they are the top players in the state for 1A through 4A. There were also auditions for the Alief Honor Band on Wednesday, November 16, where 17 students were selected to represent the best of Alief’s school bands:  Gabriela Rivera, Zoe Hall, Yul Kwon, Hector Martinez, Diego Acosta, Ethan Caro, and Sean Antonio. As well as Sofia Sorto , Rogelio Aguilar, Riona Guice , Andy Le, Tina Nguyen, Diego Salgado, Aidan Ly, Daniel Oluwasegun, Joey Flores, and Giancarlo Ramirez.
