Mentors and mentees working on the goal sheet, provided by their lead mentors during the NTLB mixer

No Tigers Left Behind or NTLB was founded eight years ago and is still running today.

Goals: The major objective of NTLB is to assist freshmen in adjusting to Kerr and becoming accustomed to its unique customs by using upperclassmen as mentors.

Events: NTLB held their first-ever mixer on September 22, 2022. It was with all the mentors and mentees meeting for the first time this school year. For some of them, it was the first time they actually met and talk. It was held during advisory and every group was assigned a different location. This meeting focused on goals and how the freshmen should make better working better habits, and stay on top of their work. The mentors and mentees were provided with a sheet of paper, that would help them come up with goals for the next term. They each had to have personal goals that would bring them success in school. After everyone wrote their goals, they were directed to the lead mentor to discuss more about the program and open up to discussions and questions. Everyone introduced themselves and mentors got the opportunity to share their experiences with Kerr.
