Alief ISD has cancelled school today due to the weather and street flooding.
From the Alief website:
“Due to inclement weather conditions, Alief ISD schools and offices will be closed today (Tuesday, May 26). Instruction and regular office hours will resume Wednesday, May 27. Bad weather make-up day is Friday, June 5.”
Drivers should avoid going through high water, which can be deeper than it appears and damage the car, stranding drivers and passengers.
