Speech and Debate meeting on March 23

March 16, 2015

There will be no Speech and Debate meeting during finals week. There will be a Speech and Debate meeting Monday, March 23, after school in the Speech and Debate room.

The UIL competition will be discussed at the meeting.

Congratulations to all the students who competed at the State tournament in El Paso.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
