Alief hosts annual Family U Conference March 29

March 6, 2014

Alief ISD will be hosting its Annual Family U Conference at the Hasting Ninth Grade Center on Saturday, March 29, from 8 AM to 1 PM.

Free food and prizes will be available. There will also be free workshops and session available in English, Spanish, and limited in Vietnamese. Translators are also available.

All Alief students and family are welcomed, but transportation is limited.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
