STUCO to volunteer at Alief Nature Center

February 24, 2014

Student Council asks for volunteers on Saturday, February 22, from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

The event will be held at the Alief Nature Center, across from Youngblood Intermediate.

All students are welcome to volunteer, but must sign up with NEED Committee Chairpersons Nancy Pham and Natalie Sin.

Students who are volunteering should wear comfortable clothing.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
