Alief ISD SAT Scholars program meeting this week

September 6, 2013

For Kerr students who have been selected for the Alief ISD SAT Scholars program, there will be a brief meeting in the cafeteria this Friday, September 6, at 1 PM.

College access counselor Sara Tones will be there to discuss further details about the program and what students who were selected need to do to prepare for the program.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
