Three place at UIL regional meet

April 22, 2013

Kerr High School’s UIL Team competed at the UIL 5A Regional Academic Meet on April 20.

Here are the results:

Nadia Zulfa- 2nd in News Writing

Mohit Agarwal- 3rd in Current Events

Adam Aitbouchireb- 5th in Computer Applications

Mohit Agarwal and Nadia Zulfa will be competiting at UIL State, held at the University of Austin, on May 21 and 22.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
