Cambiata Orchestra to perform at HBU

April 11, 2013

Cambiata Orchestra  has been given a prestigious opportunity to perform Schubert’s “Mass in G” with Dr. Yarrington and his choir.

The concert will be held at Houston Baptist University on April 20 at 7 PM. Admission is free and everyon eis welcome to come support them.

The group accompanied Alief choirs in a “Master Works” performance of the work last fall.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
