Speech and Debate attends NFL Districts

April 4, 2013

Kerr Speech and Debate team will be attending the Space City Districts competition held at Spring Woods High School. The district competition will held from April 4 through 6.

Participants who rank first, second or sometimes  third in their competition will be advancing to the NFL (National Forensic League) Nationals competition held in Birmingham, Alabama on June 16 through 21.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
