New club HOSA to have its first general meeting October 22

Sponsored by science teacher, Eric Dunlap, Kerr has started its first HOSA Chapter, partnering up with the Science and Engineering Club.

HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America), is a club that affiliates in national competitions and is particularly aimed at students who favor a medical career in their future. They will also have volunteering opportunities.

For more information, go to hosa.org and to the first meeting that will be held October 22 after school in the Science Center.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
