Kerr Choir Performs Pop Show

Kerr Choir performed 24K magic by Bruno Mars for their annual Pop Show. 

On May 10, the Kerr Choir hosted its last and biggest concert to close out this school year of 2023-2024, called Pop Show. The concert was full of emotional energy, blasted with music, and featured dancing performances. Lots of performances by solo, duo, and group blended to create such an amazing closing concert of the years. Jenny Tran is one of the members of the Kerr choir that performed 24K Magic by Bruno Mars for the 2023–2024 Pop Show. “Pop show is one of my favorite aspects of the year and I always look forward to it. I enjoy having fun on stage with my group of friends and then inviting the rest of them and my parents to the show! It was fun choosing my outfits for each performance and it felt so nice dancing in the front row with my chorale friends. Definitely already looking forward to next years pop show, the last one before I graduate!” Tran said

Members are required to log weekly tutoring sessions to maintain active status in the club. “This helps us track our hours and stay committed," Princess Eche said.
Math Club Prepares for Competitions
Perfecting the Notes: Clarinet players Ifetayo Taiwo and Taylor Nguyen practice ahead of their Honor Band auditions. They dedicated hours of preparation on their clarinet pieces to ensure their performances stood out. “It’s an intense process, but I think it’s worth it to make it,” Taiwo said.
Band Students Compete for Honors
Sign Up! Khavian Nguyen signs in at Mu Alpha Theta’s third meeting of the year. She was eager to learn more about next week’s induction event. "I love math—it’s something I even do for fun in my free time," Nguyen said.
Exploring Math: Mu Alpha Theta
New Club Alert! Myua Truong, Khoi Nguyen, and Bao Quan Ho proudly introduce their new club, VSA (Vietnamese Student Association). They designed a poster featuring intricate Asian heritage details. "This is going to be such a fun club—I’m really excited for it to begin," Truong said.
