Sophomore Officers Open Waffle Stall

Class of 2024 sells breakfast waffles on Friday, April 8, to start the last food exemption day of the school year. Their stall opens up at 6:20 a.m. sharp and continues until ingredients run out. The class officers and a few sophomore volunteers split the jobs of making the batter, cooking the waffles, placing the toppings, and selling the waffles. The efficient distribution of workload helps them serve a steady flow of customers.

Favour Taiwo and Kaylee Toruno collected payments and delivered orders from inside the cafeteria stall. They worked hard to manage the waffles and made sure every customer got the right order. “We were selling the waffles for hours,” Favour Taiwo said. “Overall, I think it was a success.”
