Looking up Seen in the picture is a group of people looking at the sky. During this time, a solar eclipse was occurring and students attempted to view it through eclipse glasses. “It’s very cloudy outside which makes it hard to see,” many students said.

On April 8, a solar eclipse occurred at around 1 pm. Since this is a rare event, students and staff were able to sign forms and receive eclipse glasses. To prevent damaging their eyes, students used ISO-verified glasses to view the sky. Unfortunately, it was a very cloudy evening making it difficult to see to sun. The eclipse was slightly visible for a short time towards the end of its path.
