There were employment offers for the summer on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, and one of those job offers was for a part-time life guard position. Bella Le, a sophomore, believes she doesn’t meet the requirements even if she is interested in working over the summer. “I’m quite interested in the summer job or working in general because it’s a good way to spend summer and earn money at the same time,” said Le. “But sadly I don’t think I can do the job since I’m 15.”

There were employment offers for the summer on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, and one of those job offers was for a part-time lifeguard position. According to the organizer, a lifeguard certification course will be held from March 13–16. Those who register in advance will receive a discount and will just need to pay $75 to take the course and become certified to work as a lifeguard. And after passing the course, they will be hired at a beginning rate of $10 to $13 per hour. Also, if they complete the necessary number of hours before the end of the season, each reference will also get an additional $50.
