FBLA Attends Area Workshop
Tiffany Tran, Doan Dao, and Muneeb Ahad attend a workshop session for social networking. They were expected to carry out short conversations with strangers about random topics. “I had fun meeting new people and getting their social information,” Tiffany Tran said. “These events give us a chance to socialize outside of our school.”
Future Business Leaders of America attended the Area V Workshop at Seven Lakes High School on November 12 to learn from professional speakers and professors. The members chose between multiple sessions on stocks, public speaking, and other topics related to networking. They participated in a networking competition that involved getting acquainted with other FBLA members. The event provided students with breakfast at 7:30 a.m. and gave them opportunities to learn for the next five hours.
