The officer team wanted to increase social media awareness of the rush meeting through their officer posts. They decided to wait until the seven days before the meeting to begin introducing themselves, hoping that the countdown would serve as a daily reminder for old and returning members. “We decided to do an officer post countdown to not only introduce our Kerr FBLA officers but to also spark anticipation for our upcoming rush meeting,” Ryan Nguyen said.

The @Aliefkerrfbla Instagram account is releasing a post dedicated to introducing an officer once a day until the FBLA rush meeting. Starting September 1, two separate posts introduced Parliamentarian Tiffany Tran and Historian Ryan Nguyen. Over the weekend, the posts for Treasurer Duyen Bui, Secretary Kunmi Oboh, and 2nd Vice-President Azeezat Akinboro went up. This week, 1st Vice-President Tracy Nguyen and President Casey Nguyen were presented. Each post is captioned with the officer’s greeting and encouragement to come to the rush meeting. The rush meeting will take place on September 8.
