Speech and Debate aims for success at George Ranch tournament

Kerr’s Speech and Debate team finishes off yet another strong season of competition.

“I’m proud of our young team this year,” said Speech and Debate Coach Derek Davis. “We took first place in sweepstakes at South Houston, and third at both Elsik and Taylor High School.”

The George Ranch tournament will be held on February 3 and 4 and with goals and expectation set high, Speech and Debate competitors aims to achieve it .

“We might have not being performing at 100%,” said Junior Jesse A., captain of the Speech and Debate team,  “but I’m confident that we would wreck the competition if we set our goals high enough and accomplish them.”
