STUCO assists in Race for the Cure

On Saturday, October 2, 40 Student Council members will go to downtown Houston to volunteer for the Race for The Cure event. Students are able to volunteer to help pass out things, play with kids, cheer for racers, and hold up banners.

“I’m happy that so many kids want to go and volunteer,” said Margaret Bancroft, Student Council Sponsor. “We’re going to be the Cure-Leaders, which are the people cheering at the [Cancer-Survivors] finish-line.”
