Clash of the Classes: Spirit Week November 7-11

It’s that time of the year again: Homecoming! To kick off spirit week, each day will have a different theme.

  • Monday: Class Colors
    Seniors – Red
    Juniors – Blue
    Sophomores – Green
    Freshmen – Yellow
  • Tuesday: Twin Day
  • Wednesday:  Disney Day
  • Thursday: Nerd Vs. Jock
  • Friday:  Spirit Day, PURPLE OUT!

Pictures will be taken during fourth period. Listen carefully to the announcements. Only come to take pictures if you are wearing the appropriate attire. There will be pictures taken separately for those wearing mums on Friday.

Make sure to come and see our state qualifying soloists and ensembles on April 23rd,2024 @ 6pm in the Kerr theatre! Kerr Choir official Instagram said.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
