All music groups gather together for concert rehearsals

All the music groups met in the band hall on Tuesday, November 8 to practice for the holiday concert.

Stuck “wall-to-wall,” all members of Kerr’s music department met in the band hall on Thursday, November 3, during first period. The rehearsal was in preparation for the Holiday concert, which will take place on December 2. “We had the risers up against the lockers. We had kids all the way up to the doors, and the string basses almost in the hall,” director Ashley Siegrist said. “I climbed through kids to get up to the podium. We’ll have one big rehearsal every week until the concert, and a dress rehearsal on the first of December.” The concert will feature a performance from each musical group, plus a performance with all the groups combined.
