FBLA and NAHS accepting donations for fire victims

October 12, 2011

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and National Art Honor Society (NAHS) are accepting donations for the fire victims in Bastrop and Magnolia until Wednesday, October 19. If you would like to donate, below is a list of accepted donations.

Packs of snack crackers
Tooth brush and tooth paste
Deodorants
Shaving gel or cream
Shampoo
Bottled water
Packs of new underwear
Gently used toys
Games
Blankets
New or gently worn clothing
Energy drinks or bars
Eye drops
Bag of dried nuts or fruit

Also note, FBLA and NAHS will be giving member points for donations.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
