New date set for table tennis

October 17, 2011

Table tennis has not had a meeting for the pass few weeks due to debate over moving the date of weekly meetings from Thursday to Tuesdays.

Members and sponsor Rick Madsen have been considering the change and majority of the members wanted the meeting on Tuesdays.

As a result, this week table tennis will meet on Tuesday, due to finals on Thursday and Friday.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
