NAHS hosting a Pet Drive

October 4, 2011

NAHS (National Art Honor Society) will be hosting a pet drive for South Texas Animal Adoption Resource (STAAR), a no-kill rescue organization. 

The organization will be collecting money during all lunches starting Monday, October 3 through Friday, October 14.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
