On September 16, Kerr’s Speech and Debate team wwill be participating in Elsik’s annual tournament.

“We have a team of 45 kids, half of them are novices and I’m really proud of the work and effort that everyone put into their performance,”  said Debate coach Derek Davis.

Senior Cameron C. feels bittersweet towards this tournament since it’s his last year competing for Kerr.

“This experience isn’t new to me because I’ve been doing this for four years but then again, this would be my last time competing at Elsik and this is my last year competing with the team,” Cameron said. “Looking back at all these memories brings a sad feeling to me.”
