Students for Humanity to meet Thursday

August 31, 2011

Students for Humanity will be holding its first meeting of the school year on Thursday, September 8 in the Social Studies Center between 2:30 and 3:00 P.M.

The purpose of Students for Humanity is to contribute to charities. Members work to raise money for humanitarian organizations and to participate in community service.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
