Teen Book Con comes to Alief

The Greater Houston Teen Book Con will take place at Taylor High School on Saturday, April 9 from 9 AM to 4 PM. Admission is free, and anyone interested is encouraged to attend. Three different panels will be set up, and various authors and graphic novelists will be paired up at each panel.

The panels will include:

  • “The Lighter Side with Some Bumps Along the Way,” with authors Deb Caletti, Lindsey Leavitt, Stephanie Perkins, Kristen Tracy, Gail Giles, Ellen Hopkins, Lauren Myracle and Elizabeth Scott.
  • “Here There be Ghosts,” with Andrea Cremer, Rachel Hawkins, Stacey Kade, Saundra Mitchell and Joy Preble.
  • “Guys Write Great Stuff,” with Brent Crawford, Blake Nelson, R.A. Nelson and Brian Yansky.
  • “Graphic Novelists Galore,” with Mark Crilley, Misako Rocks, Raina Telgemeier and Doug Tennapel.
