Desi Club Hosts Interest Meeting

Unexpected Surprise: Desi club officers present their club to potential members. President Meerab Arif goes over the club’s purpose and upcoming events. “I was surprised to see so many others, who are not desi, present,” Arif said.

Desi Club hosted its interest meeting on September 3rd during advisory. The meeting took place in the English glass area, where they introduced their 2024-25 officers. Their presentation also covered the club’s purpose and upcoming events. Officers reminded students that the club is still accepting new members all year round.

These photos will be placed in STUCO’s digital footprint for all their general meetings. “Seeing all my friends, the new freshman, and everyone at the STUCO meeting was great. It really feels like school is back in session,” Le said.

Good morning, sunrise! Seniors Sara Guerroudj and Alisha Rahman take pictures in front of the rising sun. They watched the sunrise with their classmates. “Senior sunrise was so exciting!” Guerroudj said. “So much so that I wasn’t even paying attention when the sun rose and completely missed it.”

Nacho Time: Students enjoy nachos while playing a game of Quizizz. They were able to add their own toppings to their food. "We shared a meal together, which was a great way to connect and set the tone for the semester," Rebecca Oyeniyi said.
