Students going down the counselors’ hallway will be greeted by a new face.
Donna Sargent is a long-term substitute for counselor’s secretary Diane Barrett and will be working with the Kerr students and staff for some time. Sargent has already been given a warm welcome by some of he staff and students that paid her a visit.
“I love it, everyone has really been super to me,” she said. Sargent was retired from Alief ISD and has been a substitute for about five years.
Sargent started working at Kerr last Monday. Any seniors who would like help with college or scholarships should see her.
