10 Questions with Renita Samuel

Renita Samuel, is a staff member at Kerr High School. She is the library para/assistant. “My favorite quote is ‘no complaints’. Change what you can in life and whatever you can’t change put in the lords hands,” Samuel said.

Renita Samuel is a library paraprofessional.

Question-What is your favorite part about Kerr and why?

Answer-” The students. I love coming and seeing the students every day.”

QWhere do you see yourself in five years?

A-“Retired on vacation somewhere enjoying life.”

QWhat do you love most about yourself?

A- “I’m a people person and I have a friendly personality. I like meeting people and communicating.”

QIf you could change one thing about the world what would it be?

A- “I would make everybody nicer and pleasant to each other, and erase homelessness and hunger.”

QWhat is something defining about you/what makes you stand out?

A-“My unique personality, my attitude, and my style.”

QIf you had the chance to have a conversation with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?

A-“My grandmother because I just loved her so much and she was a woman of many strengths and wisdom.”

Q-What is your favorite song at the moment?

A- “My favorite song is “Good Morning Beautiful” by Mary J. Blige. It reminds me of when I wake up in the morning and look in the mirror. That’s what you tell yourself when you look in the mirror. It’s a great way to start your day.”

Q How do you spend your free time?

A- “I spend my free time with my family. I love listening to music, I love to dance, I love to read, and I love to travel. My main thing for my free time is quality time with my family.”

QWhat would you consider to be your favorite part of the day?

A-“The evening at home because I am relaxing and with family. We socialize and enjoy each others company. ”

Q If you have any bad habits, what would you like to change?

A-“You know everyone has bad habits. One thing I do want to work on is, when I upset, I cuss. I sometimes procrastinate on different things if they’re not important to me.”
