Class of 2025 Plans for Spring Mixer

THINKING ADVANCED The officers of the class of 2025 are planning a meeting for Thursday, March 30, 2023, on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, to make a final decision regarding their April class mixer. Although many suggestions were made, it proved challenging to come up with one winning concept for their mixer because everyone had so many options. Isabella Le, the class officer, expressed her confidence in the mixer after their meeting: “I feel like it is a good idea for our class to get together and participate in activities that will engage in class bonding.”

On Wednesday, March 29, 2023, the class of 2025 officers plan a meeting that’s supposed to finalize their decision on their class mixer on Thursday, March 30, at 7:30 AM in the library during first period. While nothing has been decided yet, there are many ideas that the officers have thought of and while some disagreements occured, the class officers are very confident in their ideas and decisions.

Class officer, Meerab Arif, plans on hosting the events in the cafeteria and wants to follow a certain theme — Easter since the holiday is around the corner and she believes it’s good fit for the spring theme that they’re trying to achieve. “We’re hoping to have our mixer somewhere mid-April since it’s a few weks before finals and we figured it would be a great time to let everyone have a little bit of fun before everyone has to get into serious mode,” said Arif.

Another class officer, Iqra Naveed, plans for certain events and is confident many people will enjoy the activities planned. “While I can’t share what we’re actually finalizing, some ideas we are thinking about is tote bag painting and doing something similar to our Food Frenzy done last year,” said Naveed. “Since a lot of people really liked it last time, it seems right to do it again.”
