Fizza Atif and Kimberly Vuong are working on making a poster to hang in the cafeteria for the Lights Out Festival. Both Muslim Students’ Association and Students For Humanity have started selling tickets during both lunches and will continue to sell until March 2. “We will sell most of our tickets from cafeteria sales because that’s when all the students are in one place. It’s important for us to have a poster so that we can be easily approachable to students who may be confused if we are selling or not,” Atif said.

With Ramadan approaching, Muslim Students’ Association plans on holding different activities and events during the holy month. This includes volunteering at Masjid Hamza and an Iftaar night for all students. Iftaar is the evening meal with which Muslims end their daily Ramadan fast at sunset. The Iftaar night will allow all students to come and enjoy a variety of foods with their Muslim peers.
