10 Questions with Brendan Hoang

Hola! Brendan Hoang is a hard working student at Kerr high School. In the Spanish center, he is seen working on an upcoming Spanish conversation assignment. “Buenos Dias- I enjoy this center because of my friends,” Hoang  said.

Brendan Hoang is a freshman at Kerr.

Q-What is your favorite part about Kerr and why?

A-Kerr is a school with so much trust and freedom, I feel like I am able to take a break when I need to and work at my own pace; this is my favorite part of Kerr because I do not get burnt out as easily.

Q– Where do you see yourself in five years?

A-In five years, I see myself studying at Columbia and working many summer internships to further my portfolio.

Q-What do you love most about yourself?

A-I love my outgoing personality.

Q– If you could change one thing about the world what would it be?

A- I would find a way to solve the income gap between the privileged and  the less privileged.

Q– What is something defining about you/what makes you stand out?

A-Something defining about me is my ability to learn quickly.

Q-If you had the chance to have a conversation with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?

A-If I had the chance, I would have a conversation with Xi Jinping.

Q-What is your favorite song at the moment?

A-My favorite song at the moment is “Je T’aime” by Joy.

Q– How do you spend your free time?

A-I spend my free time studying for SAT and working on scholarship applications.

Q-What would you consider to be your favorite part of the day?

A-My favorite part of the day is going to sleep at the end of the day.

Q– What is something you would change about your learning habits?

A-I would improve my work ethic, I procrastinate a lot.
