MSA Finalizes Festival

Urooj+Hashmi+and+fellow+members+are+working+together+to+make+posters+for+the+Lights+Out+Festival+which+is+taking+place+on+March+3+from+6-10+p.m.+All+members+of+both+clubs+are+required+to+sign-up+for+a+time+slot+to+help+out+during+the+festival.+Its+important+for+us+to+make+sure+that+we+push+our+advertising+to+make+sure+the+festival+is+a+success%2C+Hashmi+said.

Urooj Hashmi and fellow members are working together to make posters for the Lights Out Festival which is taking place on March 3 from 6-10 p.m. All members of both clubs are required to sign-up for a time slot to help out during the festival. “It’s important for us to make sure that we push our advertising to make sure the festival is a success,” Hashmi said.

Muslim Students’ Association and Students For Humanity have started advertising for the festival which is set to happen on March 3 from 6-10 p.m. Both clubs will be selling tickets during both A and B lunches starting from February 21. Presale tickets are $5 and it will be increased to 7$ at the door. The theme of the festival is “Lights Out”, with activities including, hide and seek, laser tag, karaoke, ping pong, basketball, scavenger hunt, etc. A raffle is also included with each ticket for a chance to win a large plushie or a drone.
