FBLA Charges to Awesomness

Busy at work, FBLA members have been diligently helping to make posters and decorations at their meeting on January 26 for their upcoming Ping’s Festival. Ping’s Festival is a Kung Fu Panda themed festival with carnival games, escape rooms, tag games, and eating contests held on February 9 from 4 p.m to 7 p.m. Tickets are sold in the cafeteria during lunches and by officers. Even helping out during their off periods, FBLA members are excited for the event. “Our own dedicated members created an entire commercial during their free time,” said FBLA President Casy Ngyuen. “Some have even come to the business center to finish up banners and posters during their off period. We’ve also promoted the best we can via Schoology Instagram, and verbally. If you haven’t bought tickets yet, you totally should during both lunches!”

At their most recent meeting last Thursday, January 26, 2023,  members were able to be officially recognized for their performance at their last district conference. With 62% of Kerr FBLA’s 55 members going to Galveston on March 22 to 25 for states, officers gave out essential information for their next competition, such as payment plans. Ping’s Festival, a school festival hosted by FBLA, is quickly approaching, planning to be held on February 9 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Even though members have been frequently volunteering after school to prepare for the festival, they were still busy at the meeting making posters for the event.
