Administrators Prepare for Meetings and Events
Look Out! Assistant Principal Sara Tones visited classrooms throughout the school day to observe teachers and their performances in teaching. She also sometimes engages in student learning and introduces relevant information during seminars. “It was interesting when she joined our English seminar today,” said Shadrack Akinkunmi. “We were discussing social and political issues and her mini-discussion about the library books situation in Florida just blew my mind.”
On January 23, 2023, a prospective student night was held from 6 pm to 7 pm on the Kerr campus. This week, Principal Vinson Lewis and Assistant Principal Sara Tones are finishing classroom observations and attending a variety of district meetings throughout the week. On Wednesday, January 25, a campus PLC day will be held for teachers after school. A course selection night for all ninth to eleventh grade students will be coming up on Thursday, February 2, at 6:30 pm.
