Welcome To All, MIST host, Namra Hafeez discussed with historian Meerab Arif the different competitions that will be taking place at MIST. MIST will take place at the University of Houston and will allow MSAs from Houston to compete in Islamic and sports competitions. “I would love to see Kerr’s MSA at this year’s MIST competition, it will be a great way to give highlight Kerr which is a small school compared to the other schools competing,” Hafeez said.

Muslim Students’ Association meeting with Muslim Interscholastic Tournaments (MIST) was productive. Speaker, Namra Hafeez presented a presentation on MIST and how it will happen this year. Officers and members were able to clarify any concerns or questions that they may have had. It was concluded that MSA will go ahead and sign up for the MIST competitions. It will be taking place from May 5-7 and is open to all Kerr students no matter their religion.
