FBLA Learns to Resolve Conflicts in Second General Meeting
FBLA President Casey Nguyen greets members as they arrive at the second general meeting. The topic of the presentation was conflict resolution and negotiation. “We wanted our members to learn useful means of communication,” Casey Nguyen said. “Also, in the activity, they would be able to get to know others in the same club.”
Future Business Leaders of America meet for their second general meeting in the business center on October 27 to learn about conflict resolution. The members learn to recognize conflicts, negotiate, and minimize negative body language. They split into groups to work together on a scavenger hunt. In preparation for their upcoming workshops, the officers also explain what the event entails and how members must act to maintain a professional business image.
